Anne Battell, H.B.Sc., DD, HIS
Anne Battell has been licensed with the College of Denturists since 1998. For the past thirteen years she has successfully owned and operated The Niagara Denture Clinic in Niagara Falls with her husband Shawn. In the past few years, Anne had been working part-time at the Denture Clinic. Her time has been split between caring for Denture and Hearing Clients as well as being strongly devoted to their daughter Kate.
It was seven years ago since Anne and Shawn decided that the addition of a Hearing Clinic would be a good fit with their existing Denture Clinic. Anne enrolled in the Hearing Aid Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan College and completed her studies in July 2008, making the Deans Honour roll. The Fall of 2010 was the official opening of Niagara Hearing Solutions Inc. at the 5501 Drummond Road location. Anne plans to continue practicing as both a Denturist and a Hearing Instrument Specialist. She says, “It can be challenging work, but we really have a fantastic group of clients and that’s what keeps the enjoyment in our ‘work’.” She and Shawn regularly attend seminars to better their ability to serve the Niagara region and give the kind of care their clients deserve and can rely on.

Shawn Battell, DD
Shawn Battell has been licensed with the College of Denturists since 1998. For the past thirteen years he has successfully owned and operated The Niagara Denture Clinic in Niagara Falls with his wife Anne. Shawn has a growing, devoted clientele and for good reason. He has a no-nonsense approach for his clients and a strong work ethic. “Rising to the challenge” seems to be his motto. While he is focused with every client, Shawn seems to particularly shine when it comes to the most difficult cases. Whether he is working on conventional dentures or Implant denture solutions, Shawn’s sought-after outcome is always client satisfaction. When he is not working, Shawn loves to spend time with Anne and their daughter Kate, waiting for the day when she can join him in 18 holes of golf – his other growing passion. He and Anne regularly attend seminars to better their ability to serve the Niagara region and give the kind of care their clients deserve and can rely on.
